leave me alone

As the internet becomes more and more ubiquitous, its important that we develop enough ways to politely excuse ourselves from conversation, less we get overloaded.

So I present to you, the following little known, "I can't talk because" emoticons:

There is the aforementioned "I have a cheekful of food":
:-Y

also, "Can't talk right now, at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned":
:-Q

also, "Can't talk right now cuz I'm trying to pick my nose with my tongue":
:-J

also, "Can't talk very well cuz I had a minor stroke and the right side of my face is paralyzed":
:-L

and finally, "I can't talk cuz I'm in that Twighlight Zone episode where the boy with magic powers attaches that metal plate over his sister's mouth":
:-[]

ffffound objects

ok, I'm addicted to my ffffound.com account ... Endless fun. When u get bored of looking at innovative new design pictures, here's a fun game to play:

go to ffffound.com, and try, with a minimum number of clicks possible, to get to a beaver shot.

My record is 3 clicks.

double-chinned man with a cheekful of food: ( :-Y))

ok, I need the consensus on this. You are writing an email. Or an IM. Any digital communication really. Well, text-based. Anyway, you make a parenthetical aside, and you include an emoticon. Its a common occurrence. Which of the following do you do:

a. Hey hi how's it going (good I hope :)
OR
b. Hey, ya, its going awful (just kidding! ;) )

close that opening paren or not? This always leaves me puzzled!

are you feeling lucky?

google page one - adjective

1. used to describe something that is really obvious. Particularly when someone is trying to give you some sort of recommendation

For ex:
"Man, I'm going to NYC next weekend. You know anything fun to do there?"
"oh ya dude, have you heard of 'Central Park'? Its rad."
"dude, that is so google page one. What else you got?"

Which, as you can see by googling "fun stuff in new york city", is verifiably true.

free food

ben and jerry's free cone day doesn't seem to be having any impact on traffic congestion in new york or los angeles.

(screenshots as of 3:30pm here and here)

but I highly suggest you all keep a close eye on the situation.
